The Company
Its history ...
The word “Larvor” is derived from a word in the ancient dialect of Brittany meaning the sea. When Pierre Tanter, the founder
of LARVOR, moved to the French Riviera in 1977, he naturally began to apply his professional expertise to the arena of luxury
yachts. In 1985, LARVOR was established in the form in which it exists today, predominantly undertaking projects for yachts, including some of the most prestigious in the world, as well as for chateaux, villas and luxury apartments for its exclusive clientele.
Prior to his death, Mr Tanter took a young protégé named Eric Dumesny under his wing and taught him the secrets of his passion.

Its experience ...
Today our design house is one of the few founded on the knowledge and experience of two generations.
From the old school, we have adopted an ethical and principled approach that ensures the devotion of our
staff to the client and his desires. We have also
preserved from a bygone era the love for finely
crafted things, a sense of modesty, and pride
in a job well done.
From the newer generation we have mastered the
marriage of textures and materials, noble and
high-tech, antique and modern, constantly adapting
to the changing needs and desires of our clientele.
The staff at LARVOR gives total satisfaction with an entirely
new approach to interior decoration and, as a result, is often rewarded with several projects for the same client.
